Only a short flight or a ferry-ride from the UK, you can be taking it easy on Spain's incredibly beautiful northern coast, yet surprisingly tranquil and undiscovered by holiday hordes.
Most of northern spain is amazingly beautiful, and our holiday cottage is situated in the Nature Park of Oyambre, in the barrio of El Tejo which is about 3 miles outside Comillas, a charming seaside town in Santander province. The fabulous Oyambre beach is only a ten minute stroll away, and the famous Picos de Europa mountains are also within reach. The hamlet of El Tejo has a very rustic feel to it, and it's very safe for families to walk around. The owners live in the area and will be able to show you places only local people know, including some marvellous secluded beaches.



Our country cottage called La Cuadra is fully furnished and can accommodate up to 6 people. There's 2 bathrooms to avoid those bathroom queue blues! Pets are welcome here, and if needed you can be picked up from Santander airport at no extra charge. You can stay on a night by night basis if you like, from only £46 per night or less in low season for the entire house. Please select the Price List tab for pricing details.

The owners of the accommodation speak English; however many people in the area may not. Please bring a phrasebook to help with shopping, going for a meal etc. The chances are you won't bump into any native English speakers here!
Another feature - Classes in Spanish, German or English given by experienced teachers available on request from 15 Euros.
